Tennis Ball
A tennis ball made with perler beads, simple, quick, and super cute! This two-color pattern is perfect for little hands just getting started… and for racket fans of all ages. 🎾🧡
Let’s serve up some creativity!
Materials needed to create this pattern:
This creation can be easily made using a standard square pegboard (#Ad #Amazon) and a set of midi beads — just two colors: yellow and white!
💡 Did you know?
Tennis balls have been yellow since 1972. Before that, they were white! The BBC requested the change so they would be easier to see on television. Since then, “optic” yellow has become the official color of competition tennis balls. 🎾
And that characteristic fuzzy covering on the ball? It helps slow it down and gives players better control over its trajectory. Without it, the ball would fly far too fast to play! 💨
