Hello everyone!
I’m Adam’s mom, an 8-year-old little boy who’s curious and creative! One day, coming back from after-school club, Adam shows me a tiny animal made with perler beads. So unusual! “What’s this?” I ask. “Perler beads!”
His passion
Adam quickly became a fan, and his passion for perler beads grew, so we decided to buy our first fuse beads kit (#Ad #Amazon) It came with a pretty complete pattern booklet. But my son kept asking me, “Can you find me a perler beads pattern for a meteorite? A lemur? A fruit basket?” …Uh… okay!
What do we need?
Indeed, just like Adam, when a 3- or 4-year-old starts wanting to recreate a design with perler beads, they need a pattern to place under their transparent pegboard (#Ad #Amazon) to recreate, bead by bead, the color patterns. It’s only later that they’ll be able to reproduce designs visually, either by counting the beads or freely.
Searching for patterns
So, I imagined I’d find tons of printable patterns online. But not at all. Sometimes, starting from just a photo, I struggled to recreate a pattern for him, and I thought: I can’t be the only one looking for this!

The project
This is how the idea for this blog came to life. As a trained graphic designer, I started redrawing the patterns Adam used, invented, or found online, so that everyone could easily download, print, and use them.
Our goal is to make these fuse beads patterns accessible to everyone and to fill the blog with as many choices and themes as possible. So please, don’t hesitate to share your ideas, suggestions, creations, photos, or patterns with us — I’ll be happy to recreate, redraw, and make them freely available for the community!
